Dear Devotees,
Sri Vyasaraja Matha Maha Samsthana, renowned as the "Vidya Karnataka Simhasana," is a sacred institution established in the glorious lineage of Jagadguru Sriman Madhvacharya. It is the divine Peetha adorned by Munitrayaru and has been graced by many great saints, scholars, commentators on the Vedas, authors of revered scriptures such as Nyaya Sudha and Vyasa Traya, great ascetics, social reformers and compassionate spiritual leaders. Their contributions continue to inspire generations of devotees. The present Pontiff, His Holiness Sri Sri 1008 Sri Vidyashreesha Theertha Sripadangalavaru, is continuously engaged in the propagation of Shastras, the daily worship at the Matha, the development of the institution, and the spiritual upliftment of devotees. This year, His Holiness observes His 10th Chaturmasya at the sacred pilgrimage centre of Tirumakudalu, also known as the Trimakuta Kshetra. This holy place, situated at the confluence of the rivers Kaveri, Kapila, and the Spatika Sarovara, is revered as the "Prayag of South." It is sanctified by the presence of Lord Gunja Narasimha, the Chaturyuga Ashwattha Vriksha, Sri Mukhya Prana, Sri Agasthyeshwara and Moola Brindavanas of revered Gurus including Sri Chandrika Acharyaru. His Holiness has undertaken the renovation of the Sri Matha located at sacred Sangama. During this Chaturmasya, He resides in the newly constructed Matha building and conduct daily Shastra classes, discourses and other spiritual activities. All devotees are cordially invited to visit Tirumakudalu with their families during the Chaturmasya period and receive the divine blessings of the Lord and the Guru Parampara.
