It is also the sacred place of Moola Brindavana Sannidhanas of many illustrious saints in the lineage of Sri Vyasaraja Tirtha like Sri Jagannatha Tirtha (renowned as “Bhashyadeepikacharya”), Sri Vidyanatha Tirtha and Sri Vidyapati Tirtha. As the renovation / re-construction of Sri Vyasaraja Matha at Kumbhakonam gets completed, MAHA SAMPROKSHANA KUMBHABHISHEKA to the Sannidhanas of Lord Sri Krishna, Sri Mukhyaprana & Sri Moola Brindavanas as well as the Pratishta of Mrittika Brindavanas of Sri Vyasaraja and Sri Raghavendra Swamigalu is being performed by H. H. Sri 1008 Sri Vidyashreesha Tirtha Swamiji, Pontiff of Sri Vyasaraja Matha (Sosale) on Friday, 6th February 2026. Several other programmes have also been proposed in this connection.
